About Sussex Steel

Sussex Steel is a charity (CIO) created by individuals who are passionate about steelpan and committed to increasing the musical opportunities for people in Sussex and beyond. Our goal is to make steelpan accessible to everyone. We set up and run steel bands schools and run Sussex Steel professional, youth and community bands. We are pleased to be supported by West Sussex Music, Brighton Hove Albion Football Club and British Association of Steel bands. We hope you enjoy our website.
